| Five Days Left to Submit Your Nomination for the Citizens Medal For over 40 years, the Presidential Citizens Medal has recognized Americans who have "performed exemplary deeds of service for their country or their fellow citizens," and is our nation's second-highest honor. President Obama is asking for nominations for the 2011 Citizens Medal, and if you know someone who has performed exemplary deeds of service outside of their regular jobs, be sure to nominate him or her before May 30, 2011.
