Obama welcomed Rose Mary Sabo-Brown, Sabo's widow, and Kathleen Starkey, far left, Sabo's sister-in-law, while the First Lady embraced Frances Buccelli, Sabo's mother-in-law. Sabo was a rifleman assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and was killed in Cambodia during the Vietnam War.
