Tsosie's visit to the battalion gave younger Marines an opportunity to learn about an important aspect of Marine Corps heritage. Tsosie served with 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment in multiple battles, including Peleliu, Okainawa, and Cape Gloucester.
