SATCO Products Recalls KolourOne LED Light Bulbs Due to Risk of Injury
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Recall Summary
Name of Product: KolourOne Brand Panel Array 2.0 and DUO 2.0 PAR LED Light Bulbs
Hazard: The metal housing/lens assembly can separate from the bulb’s base and fall. This poses a risk of injury from impact to bystanders.
Remedy: Replace

Recall Details
Units: About 119,000 in the U.S. and 2,350 in Canada
Description: This recall involves SATCO KolourOne brand Panel Array 2.0 and DUO 2.0 PAR 30 and 38 LED light bulbs. The 13-, 14- and 17-watt white bulbs were sold in longneck and shortneck models and have the KolourOne logo printed on the neck of the bulb. Product numbers beginning with S89XX or S90XX are printed below the logo. Lot numbers are printed on the outer rim of the optical lens and those with the letter “A” in the last character position are not included in the recall. Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received four reports of the bulb components separating. No injuries have been reported.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using and remove the recalled light bulbs from any fixture. Consumers can contact SATCO Products for free replacement bulbs.
Sold at: Electrical supply stores, lighting showrooms, hardware and specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com from December 2012 to February 2014 for between $35 and $45.
