Rocky Brands Recalls Georgia Boot Steel-Toed Shoes Due to Compression Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Recall Summary
Name of Product: Georgia Boot steel-toed work shoes
Hazard: When compressed, the steel toe cap in the shoes can fail to protect the wearer’s feet.
Remedy: Replace

Units: About 6,800
Description: The recalled shoes are six-inch tall, brown leather, steel-toed shoes with dark brown padding at the ankles sold under the Georgia Boot brand name. On the outward side, the boots have a tag with the words “Met-Guard” at the stitching and the Georgia Boot logo near the heel. A white label on inside of the tongue of the recalled boots have the Georgia Boot logo, the product number “G9075” on the left side, a date code between 01-12 and 10-13 in the MM-YY format on the right side, and the words ‘Men’s Georgia Metatarsal 6” Brown.’
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Remedy: Consumers should stop wearing the recalled shoes immediately and contact Rocky Brands for a free pair of replacement steel-toed shoes in a similar style.
Sold at: Lehigh Outfitters stores, traveling ShoeMobiles, online at www.lehighoutfitters.com and www.lehighsafetyshoes.com, and through client websites nationwide from January 2012 to November 2013 for about $150.

Pier 1 Imports Recalls Hanging Glass Star Lanterns Due to Fire Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Recall Summary
Name of Product: Hanging Glass Star Lanterns
Hazard: The solder welds on the lantern can melt due to heat from a tea light. This can cause the candle holder to break and expose the flame, posing a fire hazard.
Remedy: Refund

Units: About 10,800 in U.S. and 550 in Canada
Description: This recall includes Pier 1 Imports’ hanging glass star lanterns. The lanterns were sold in the following colors and SKU numbers: amber (SKU 2717349), clear (SKU 2717351) and red (SKU 2724169). The SKU number is printed on a hang tag attached to the lantern. The lantern is a three-dimension star-shape made of gold-toned metal and glass. The lantern measures seven inches wide, seven inches deep and seven inches high. A metal tea light cup sits inside the metal and glass star.
Incidents/Injuries: Pier 1 Imports has received five reports of the solder melting on the lanterns, including one report of the lantern falling apart and burning a rug. No injuries have been reported.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hanging glass star lanterns and return them to any Pier 1 Imports store for a full refund or a store credit.
Sold exclusively at: Pier 1 Imports stores nationwide and online at www.Pier1.com from August 2013 through February 2014 for between $16 and $20.

Ontel Recalls Isometric Exercise Devices Due to Projectile Hazard
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Consumers should stop using this product unless otherwise instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product.
Recall Summary
Name of Product: ISO7X Isometric Exercise Device
Hazard: The handle grips on each end can break during use and cause parts to be forcefully ejected from the shaft, posing a risk of injury from impact to the user or bystander.
Remedy: Refund

Units: About 170,000
Description: This recall involves ISO7X isometric exercise devices. The device is about 3 feet long. It has hard plastic black handle grips on each end and two black nylon straps that extend down opposite sides of the center metal shaft. This recall only involves isometric exercise devices with black handle grips.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 10 reports of the handles breaking and the ejection of the internal spring coil and rod, including five reports of impact injuries that resulted in punctures and lacerations.
Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ISO7X isometric exercise device and contact Ontel Products to receive instructions on how to obtain a full refund.
Sold by: Sporting good and other retail stores nationwide, Ontel direct response television and online at buyironbow.com, buyiso7x.com, getiso7x.com and iso7x.com from October 2009 through August 2011 for about $30.
