An F/A-18C Hornet and an F/A-18E Super Hornet fly in formation over the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson in the Pacific Ocean, Aug. 24, 2014. The carrier is conducting qualifications off the coast of Southern California as part of the ship's Western Pacific Deployment 2014. The F/A-18C Hornet is assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 113 and the F/A-18E Super Hornet is assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 22.
