Santa Barbara Smokehouse Voluntary Recalls Cold Smoked Salmon Because of Possible Health Risk

Santa Barbara Smokehouse of Santa Barbara, CA is voluntarily recalling all smoked salmon from March 1st to April 8th 2015, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
