Rescue Response 01/24/2016 06:00 PM CST A soldier helps clear a path while assisting the Waynesboro First Aid Crew with a rescue call near Waynesboro, Va., Jan. 23, 2016. The soldier is with the Virginia National Guard's Company D, 1st Battalion, 116th Infantry Regiment, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The first aid crew members were unable to reach the location of the call with their ambulance, so soldiers drove them to the residence, cleared a path and transported the patient to the ambulance for evacuation.
