Name of Product: Ice axes
Hazard: The knife in the axe handle can detach, posing a laceration or impact hazard to the user or bystanders.
Remedy: Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ice axe and contact STUBAI for instructions on receiving a free replacement axe.

Description: This recall involves the STUBAI Tour Lite Telescope ice axe. The red and black axe ranges about 20 to 35 inches long with an aluminum head that is 9 inches long and 1 inch wide. “STUBAI” is printed on the top side of the axe above the black gripper. The axe weighs about one pound and can be adjusted from about 23 to 37 inches. The batch number is printed on the head and on the top of the shaft on the axe. The batch numbers included in this recall are: 865 on the head and 870 on the shaft.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported
Sold at: Hansen Mountaineering, International Rocky Trade, Mount Hunt Supplies and online at www.campsaver.com and from June 2015 through June 2016 for about $200.

Description: The recall involves the 1,500 watt Patriot Power Generators. The generators were sold in black or dark blue with “Patriot Power Generator” printed on the right side of the unit. The recalled generators have serial numbers U14040001 through U14041092 and U14110001 through U14111092 printed on a sticker in the upper right hand corner of the rear panel of the unit. The generators measure about 18 inches long by 10 inches wide by 12 inches tall.
Incidents/Injuries: Lekker has received 13 reports of generator fires, two reports of generators that began to smoke and one report of an unusual noise or odor from the generator. No injuries have been reported.
Sold Exclusively: Online at www.4patriots.com from November 2014 through April 2015 for about $2,000.

Name of Product: Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts
Hazard: The oven mitts lack thermal protection, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
Remedy: Replace
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled oven mitts, destroy them and contact Loot Crate to receive a replacement product of equal or greater value.

Units: About 360,000 (in addition, about 15,000 were sold in Canada and about 380 were sold in Mexico)
Description: This recall involves the Marvel Thanos Infinity Gauntlet oven mitts. The oven mitt’s outer shell is 100% polyester in primarily a golden yellow color with blue, purple, green, red and black accents. The Marvel logo can be found on the upper center part of the oven mitt. Made in China and UPC code 15129322 are printed on the care label on the inside seams of the oven mitts.
Incidents/Injuries: The firm has received 241 reports of burn injuries, including reports of the glove melting and burning consumers’ skin.
Sold exclusively at: www.lootcrate.com as an item included in their May 2016 subscription “Power”-theme box. The subscription was available from April 2016 through May 2016 for about $20.
