Wall Street Down More Than 3% at Close in Broad Sell-Off
U.S. stock indexes tumbled Thursday, following steep drops in overseas trading earlier.
The Dow Jones industrial average fell over 380 points, or 3.5 percent. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock index dropped by more than 36 points, or 3.1 percent.
