Yankees Clinch American League East Title With Win Over Tampa Bay
Mere hours after securing a post-season spot in the day game of a double header against the Rays, the Yankees clinched the American League East division title with a 4-2 victory over Tampa Bay.
Combined with the Boston Red Sox's 6-4 loss to Baltimore, the victory gave the Yankees their 12th division title in the last 16 years.
