Huxtable's Kitchen Voluntarily Recalls Trader Joe's brand Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa and Wheatberry Salad Because of Possible Health Risk

Huxtable's Kitchen is initiating a voluntary recall of Trader Joe's Roasted Butternut Squash, Red Quinoa and Wheatberry Salad because the onions used as an ingredient have the potential to be contaminated by Listeria monocytogenes. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
