Marines dismount from an amphibious assault vehicle during an exercise as part of Javelin Thrust 2012 on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., July 10, 2012. The Marines are infantrymen assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment. Javelin Thrust is an annual large-scale exercise with which allows active and reserve Marines and sailors from 38 states to train together as a seamless Marine air-ground task force.
