HOIST TRAINING 08/14/2012 02:34 PM CDT Coast Guard Petty Officer 2nd Class Jonathan Avery lowers Petty Officer 1st Class Bret Fogle into the Pasquotank River near Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., Aug. 3, 2012. The crews conducted hoist training with cadets from the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Conn., as part of their summer visit to the air station. Avery, a flight mechanic, and Fogle, a rescue swimmner, are assigned to the North Carolina station.
