Oregon Ice Cream Manufacturing is Voluntarily Recalling Aldens Organic Brand Peanut Butter n Chip Ice Cream and Cascade Glacier Brand Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream Due to Possible Health Risks

Out of the utmost concern for our consumers, Oregon Ice Cream Company is initiating a voluntary recall of Alden's Peanut Butter 'n Chip, 48oz and Cascade Glacier Chocolate Peanut Butter, 3 gallon that contain peanut butter associated with the Sunland, Inc. recall. The peanut butter used in this product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. As you may have heard, to date Sunland, Inc. has recalled 75 products after learning that twenty­ nine people reported Salmonella Bredeneye PFGE matching illnesses in approximately 18 states. These products are distributed nationally to a number of large supermarket chains.
