The sun bears down of Guam Army National Guardsmen and Afghan soldiers at Qala-I-Jangi in northern Afghanistan's Balkh province, Sept. 30, 2013. This facility once served as a camp for prisoners of war and became a historic site in the early stages of Operation Enduring Freedom. Qala-I-Jangi was also a former Taliban base.
