 PUBLIC SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK   NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 0640 PM CST TUE MAR 08 2011  ...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED OVER PARTS OF THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...  THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER IN NORMAN OK IS FORECASTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FEW STRONG TORNADOES AND DAMAGING WINDS OVER PARTS OF THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.  CONDITIONS WILL BECOME INCREASINGLY FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES TONIGHT...SOME OF WHICH MAY BE STRONG.  TORNADOES DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR CAN BE PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS BECAUSE THEY ARE USUALLY FAST-MOVING AND OBSCURED BY RAIN AND DARKNESS.  THE AREAS MOST LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE THIS ACTIVITY INCLUDE         MUCH OF LOUISIANA        SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI  STATE AND LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGERS ARE MONITORING THIS DEVELOPING SITUATION.
