URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 734 NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 1150 AM CDT WED OCT 27 2010 THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL ALABAMA NORTHERN AND CENTRAL GEORGIA EAST-CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING AND EVENING FROM 1150 AM UNTIL 700 PM CDT. TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS. THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 45 STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 70 MILES SOUTHWEST OF TUSCALOOSA ALABAMA TO 25 MILES EAST OF ATHENS GEORGIA.
