  URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 736 NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 745 PM EDT WED OCT 27 2010  THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF          SOUTHERN MARYLAND        EXTREME NORTHERN NORTH CAROLINA        SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA        COASTAL WATERS  EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING FROM 745 PM UNTIL 200 AM EDT.  TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.  THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 90 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES SOUTH OF SOUTH HILL VIRGINIA TO 20 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF PATUXENT RIVER MARYLAND. DISCUSSION...ISOLATED SEVERE STORMS CONTINUE MOVING ENEWD OVER SOUTHEAST VA...WITH ADDITIONAL STORMS INCREASING IN A LINE FROM EXTENDING SWWD OVER SOUTH CENTRAL VA.  AIR MASS REMAINS MOIST AND MODERATELY UNSTABLE WITHIN AN ENVIRONMENT CHARACTERIZED BY 35-45 KT DEEP LAYER SHEAR...WHICH WILL MAINTAIN THREAT FOR SUPERCELL STRUCTURES. A SSWLY LOW LEVEL JET IS FORECAST TO INTENSIFY THIS EVENING INCREASING LOW LEVEL SHEAR AND SRH WITH CONTINUED THREAT FOR A FEW TORNADOES.   URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 735 NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK 205 PM EDT WED OCT 27 2010  THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF          NORTHEAST GEORGIA        WESTERN AND CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA        WESTERN SOUTH CAROLINA  EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 205 PM UNTIL 900 PM EDT.  TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.  THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES EITHER SIDE OF A LINE FROM 40 MILES SOUTH OF ANDERSON SOUTH CAROLINA TO 65 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF DANVILLE VIRGINIA.
